License grant. Subject to the terms, we grant you the right to use, copy, modify, create derivative works of, publicly perform, publicly display and redistribute the Software for any Permitted Purpose.
Permitted Purpose. Any purpose other than a Competing Use — i.e. you may not make the Software available in a commercial product or service that substitutes for the Software, or offers substantially the same functionality. Permitted purposes include internal use, non-commercial education and research, and professional services provided to licensees using the Software.
MIT future grant. An irrevocable additional license under the MIT license becomes effective on the second anniversary of each version's release date. From that date the version may be used, modified, distributed, sublicensed and sold without restriction, subject only to retaining the copyright notice and license text.
